Badgers basketball is in for a bit of a summer-long layoff.
The basketball tournament will start on Sunday in Iowa and run through Thursday in New Hampshire.
The Badgers will also host the Iowa Invitational in Iowa on June 22.
“It’s been a great experience, both in terms of getting back into the program and also in terms on getting to know the people who run the programs,” Badgers head coachsaid.
“It was great to see all of our guys coming back to campus, but especially seeing how good the student-athletes are in their program and how they are progressing.”
The Badger Basketball Tournament is a series of three-games with a doubleheader against Iowa and New Hampshire at Memorial Stadium in Ames.
The event will also see the Badgers compete in the NCAA Tournament in its sixth and final year.
The first tournament is scheduled to start on Saturday, June 20 and run until June 23.
The second will start June 23 and run till July 4.
The final will start July 4 and run to July 20.
Tickets for the Badger Tournament are on sale now and go on sale on Thursday.
