The Warriors have a chance to make the playoffs with a win against the Bulls on Sunday, but the Hawks have a tough task ahead.
They are playing the Bulls, a team that has lost three of four, and are hoping to get back to winning ways in their next three games.
Hawkeyes coach Nate Taylor said the Hawks had to “fight” to get past the Bulls and that the team’s effort was “better than anybody would have expected”.
“We did a really good job of getting in the zone, getting in our zone and doing what we needed to do,” Taylor said.
“They’re one of those teams that just can’t get in our faces, so we just had to fight through it and we did that.”
Taylor said the Bulls were one of the toughest teams to play against.
“I don’t know if you guys can compare them to any other team, because they’re such a tough team to play,” Taylor added.
“But we did a good job at it and I think we were in the right place at the right time.”
Athletics coach Nate Harris has already described the Bulls as a team “in the middle of the pack” and the Hawks as a “team that is in the middle”.
The Hawks will need to pick up five wins from the next four games to make a case for the postseason.
