Alabama’s coach Nick Saban ranks among the top 20 college basketball coaches of all-time in terms of his teams success, but it doesn’t mean the Crimson Tide can just focus on the national title race.
In the wake of Alabama’s NCAA championship victory over Georgia, which was followed by a win over Michigan, Saban was asked if the Crimson and Tigers are going to win the SEC East.
Saban said, “Not at this point.
The SEC is not the most important thing for us.
It’s not even close to being the most significant thing.”
However, it’s not just the SEC that Saban cares about, as the Alabama head coach has been instrumental in developing his players.
His success has seen him land in coaching jobs around the country, including a role as the head coach of the NBA team the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He was recently named the head basketball coach of Texas Tech and is currently the head of the New York Knicks.
So Saban is an active recruiter for high-profile NBA coaches, but he also has his sights set on recruiting for the NBA as well.
In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Saban discussed how his team has improved over the past few seasons.
When you talk about basketball players, we don’t think about the big picture.
We think about basketball.
We want to have the same attitude about everything.
When we’re recruiting, we look at guys who are young, and we think about their maturity level.
And when we talk about our young guys, it is about what are they going to play in the NBA?
And what are their strengths and weaknesses?
That’s a lot different than recruiting.
It is a lot more about, what are we going to have on our roster, what can we teach them to become better players?
When we get the players, that’s when it starts.
When I first got here, I think we had the right mindset, and it took me a while to figure it out.
So now we’ve built a foundation of the right mentality, and that has really helped us.
We’re all really excited to get this opportunity.
When it’s time to go out there, I’m excited to do it, and I’ll be ready to go.
It will be fun.
I think it’s a great opportunity for our program.
I’ve seen some good things.
And we’ll do our best to do the best we can.
