The NBA star has long been known for his dedication to the game.
But now, LeBron James says he’s finally getting to a point where he doesn’t have to be a professional.
James and his teammates have been competing with one another for the title of NBA Most Valuable Player since the start of the 2016-17 season.
This year’s MVP race was won by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but James and his fellow Cavaliers have been battling for the last several months for the top spot.
During an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” James told host Chuck Todd that he still has no idea what the NBA’s future holds.
“We’re going to just keep playing basketball,” James said.
“We have the same passion.
It’s not like I’m going to go to a new job or something.
It was just the passion, it was just getting better and better and we have the talent and we’re just not giving up.”
James was a member of the Cavaliers from 2014-15.
The team went to the NBA Finals in 2015 and won their third title in four seasons.
